It’s the 2020s and audiovisual content is the new normal – it’s everywhere. Every minute of the day, viewers are surrounded by attractive videos, animations and interactive modules. All this exciting content raises the bar of what your audience expects - and accepts. There’s no reason why online trainings should lag behind.
When it comes to online learning, viewers expect audiovisual content with engaging stories, up-to-date visuals and a clear what’s in it for me. Not because it looks good, but because it helps them absorb the content much better. And they’re absolutely right.
“E-learning” or online trainings have come a long way since the 1990s. The possibilities are endless:
Modern audiovisual training can (and should) contain all of the above. People aren’t learning from a book - a computer is a multimedia device!
Online digital learning, learning from a screen, is a lot more like classroom training than most realise. A computer is a multimedia device – a screen isn’t designed just for reading long texts. Today, viewers who get in front of their computers expect their training content to be up to date. They expect to be engaged and stimulated. They expect some measure of control, and they expect to understand why the training materials are so important.
Among others, but e-learning is much, much more than just training videos. To be effective, training shouldn’t be a lean back experience. Just like in a live context, viewers need to be stimulated and engaged. They should answer questions, explore certain bits of content on their own. They should be able to test their knowledge and finally, get some kind of certification for completing the training. Content should be easily searchable, just like a book. Interactivity is an absolute must.
Yes and no. Your subject matter experts working closely together with our training experts is a killer combination. Your people know the in and outs of their topics, we know how to get those content across and make it happen.
Can online trainings replace live trainings?
We hope not! Live trainings and online trainings are perfectly complementary. For example, why waste precious time live on teaching basic theory or repeating principles everyone’s already supposed to know? Cover those topics in an online format, so the live training can focus on advanced techniques, soft skills, roleplaying and so on.
At Instruxion, multimedia trainings have always been the core of our business, ever since we started in 2001. At Instruxion we have over 20 years of experience developing high impact learnings for small SMEs and international companies; Technical capabilities, soft skills, sales techniques, medical procedures, safety guidelines, cybersecurity – we’ve explained it all, to a very broad range of audiences worldwide. We have developed an easy and clear methodology (based on the 9 events of instruction by Robert Gagné) and we’ve refined the techniques of didactic animation.
And just like with all our other specialities, your business objectives come first. Our team will work with your experts to design a solution that suits your objectives and your target audience.
Our training philosophy is very simple:
“Maximize the (multi-)medium!!”
Choosing e-learning Is more than just a cost-saving measure. An online training is a solution with staying power. It’s a reference work, a storehouse of knowledge that can be shared from one employee to another. Online trainings are a perfect complement to live trainings.
Don’t believe us, believe them.
Caching images for all files
On this browser, not all images have been stored in the cache yet. Presumably hundreds of images will be contained all files in aggregate. Caching images is necessary in order to be able to open them as previews. In case this is unnecessary for this visit, you can also visit this page without that feature.
Are you sure you want to delete the project "G" ?
It is recommended to deactivate projects rather than to delete them. A client cannot view inactive projects until you reactivate them.
Still have a massive list of superfluous projects? Then you can delete this project permanently. All files this project is associated with remain uploaded and can be linked to other projects/demos.
