The FSMA, the Financial Services and Markets Authority in Belgium, appointed Instruxion as their partner to create their informative videos for educational and awareness purposes.
These B2B communications address employees in the financial domain, such as banks and insurance companies.
Next to that, the FSMA also founded “Wikifin”, a programme to educate our population on finance. Wikifin videos should therefore appeal a broad audience (B2C).
In both cases complex topics need to be explained in a crystal clear and most accessible way.
Besides, all videos should increase FSMA’s visibility in order to empower the modern and attractive brand image of the organization.
Instruxion has developed a series of informative animations and live action videos about “Anti-money laundry” (AML) and “Fraud detection”. They show concrete situations in which a bank or insurance agent suspects risks in these domains, present concrete tips how to deal with these risks, and some videos contain live testimonials.
The animations or motion graphics combine animated photos and illustrations. This way, ‘real-life’ people and situations enhance the direct impact on the user, and playful elements ensure that the messages and tips stick.
In our live action videos actors bring the experiences of real victims of financial fraud to live in an appropriate setting evoking the right emotion.
The Wikifin videos aim at turning Wikifin.be to a dynamic platform, on which all questions about money are answered in a clear and visual way. Many videos are used in primary and secondary school during classes in financial education.
The target audience of these explainers are consumers that are introduced to many of these financial topics for the first time.
On top of these videos, we also created explainers about the ‘financial crises’ for Wikifin Lab, a digital and interactive centre for financial education in Brussels, which opened its doors end of 2020. In this living lab, students can experiment with various daily life situations in which money is involved. They learn how to deal with marketing actions and manage their budgets.
The “Money Week” (18 - 26 March 2021) aims at shining light on the importance of financial education. All week long, numerous activities are offered at schools all over Belgium.
During this 6th edition of Money Week, more than 8,000 students in years 2 and 3 of secondary school seized the opportunity to attend one or more classes taught by Ministers via videoconference.
In a very short timeframe, Instruxion took care of the video shoots with 6 Ministers and State Secretaries, and video editing in 2 languages (including clarifying illustrations). The online classes were given by:
